Hopefully looking at this one hasnt sent you blind, but what better time than a birthday to go crazy with bright colours? This deviation marks two things: 1) DeviantARTs 8th birthday - what an achievement (This is also an entry for the Vexel gallerys 8 Years - 8 Layers competition) 2) My first EVER completed vexel of a human being.
=shebid has heard all about this over the last week or so, but Ill let the rest of you in on the story as well. To date, I have started a ridiculous number of vexels that have had a person as the main subject. And each time Id go to do a new one, the frame of mind was always well Ive got more willpower this time, maybe Ill get it done and as you can see from my gallery, its never happened. Not once. (I guess you could count the mini-portrait on my Introduction deviation, but Im still not happy with that one )
I finished this one during the day, and let me just say that Ive knocked myself over; because Ive finally done it. And Id like to dedicate this to someone whos in the heart of the vexel community - Mr `DCZed. Although youre overseas at the moment D, I hope that when you come back and see this you can finally say Kell, youve done it. Now was it really that hard?! and have a good laugh. We all miss you heaps D, and we cant wait to have you back.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
